There are many opportunities to become involved with Hospice Hearts. Volunteers are primarily needed to provide transportation around Illinois and support special events.
Volunteers are invited to attend our monthly meetings the first Sunday of each month at the Champaign Public Library, 200 W. Green St. Friends Conference Room 215 (second floor) from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m.
All Hospice Hearts volunteers must have a registration form on file with the rescue.
Assistance with transportation is vital to the functioning of Hospice Hearts. We frequently need transportation of orphans from various shelters and animal controls in Central Illinois to Champaign-Urbana. Volunteers who can help transport our orphans to vet visits and deliver supplies to foster homes are also greatly appreciated.
Volunteers are also needed to help staff various fundraisers and adoption events in the area. These events are typically a one-time commitment on an as-needed basis in the Champaign-Urbana area.
